Suffering From Greatness

i’m like ravaan

with my ten faces.

oh gosh—

good gracious.

jupiter sessions.

mind gone spacious.

i’m sick—

might be suffering

from greatness.

too many versions

of myself

sharing one name.

one wants peace.

one wants power.

one wants legacy.

one says:

slow down.

the other says:

great men

don’t get saved.

they get remembered.

one side of me

wants love.

the other

looks at destiny

like:

i can’t miss this.

not now.

not after

all this pain.

i went back

in time.

living

in reverse.

manufactured

my own rise

with stoic patience.

all i think

is greatness.

all i know

is patience.

all i know

is this headed

somewhere bigger

than me.

jupiter talking

in frequencies.

telling me—

pressure

ain’t pressure

when the soul

asked for this.

truth is—

when all you think about

is becoming,

normal starts

feeling like a disease.

so if i’m sick—

it’s only because

greatness

got ten faces

and every one

looks like me.
